Midway's extensive equipment and systems provide customers with precision stamping and assembly products. Skilled operators, along with teamwork concepts and SPC data charts combine to ensure consistency and optimum performance.
We ensure productivity even further by making sure our people have the best machinery. Modern stamping presses, automated welding equipment and the use of robotics all make us more efficient.
Using a workcell concept, we build teams to produce a finished component. Each team member knows each other’s job. Since they are familiar with an entire process, this also lets them monitor for consistent quality.
Data collection stations throughout our plants monitor processes via feedback from every machine operator. Training in statistical process control and problem solving techniques helps the team achieve high productivity.
