Tool Process Engineer
Responsible for providing various staff Tool Process Engineering services which include participating in advance quality planning and tool buy-offs; coordinate and assist in Homeline tool tryout/run offs; provide assistance to the skilled trades in resolving tooling problems, provide engineering expertise for continuous improvement of tooling and process performances; design tooling and fixtures, as required, and maintain the Tool and Process Engineering files for the plant.
Position requirements include:
Two year college technical degree or equivalent experience preferred, with six years experience in the field. Experience to include tool and die making (four year apprenticeship preferred) in a stamping plant; knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing in addition to AutoCAD experience.
